With Trimble TerraFlex, you can…
2. Easily move TerraFlex licenses between your field users.
As your field crews change, simply allocate an existing license to a new team member by navigating to the Organization’s People page and enabling the TerraFlex App within the Edit Details panel. Swipe left and right, or tap to see the full image.
3. Sync to the cloud in real-time.
Sync data from your mobile device to the cloud in real-time for back-office processing without leaving the field. To sync your data, tap the Sync option within the primary menu. Change syncing options if needed in the Settings menu.
4. Create form templates for multi-use.
Rather than re-creating your form template every time, you can create a form template once that can be used across multiple projects. Link or duplicate a template to multiple projects by navigating to the Templates page, select a template, then choose either link (to projects) or duplicate (template).
5. Set up easy-to-follow template layouts.
Make field collection simple for your crews by setting up easy-to-follow template layouts with pages, sections, and headers.
6. Set conditional rules for form templates.
Customize the flow of your forms using a set of defined rules. You can create conditional and target fields that will display on the mobile device as designed back in the office.
7. Set accuracy thresholds for data collection.
Ensure data quality by setting accuracy thresholds. For example, this hydrant form must be collected while obtaining a 1-meter accuracy or better. Define the required accuracy within the Geometry Settings while creating a Form template.
8. Lock attributes or part of a feature.
Eliminate accidental updating by locking attributes. To lock an attribute or part of a feature, check the box labeled “Activate update options”, highlight the field you intend to lock, and select the padlock icon on the right side of the screen.
9. Constrain users to update only certain data elements in a form.
Send your existing GIS or asset information into the field and force your teams to update specific elements of the data in order to complete a form. To do this, check the box labeled “Activate update options”, highlight the field that requires an update, and select the asterisk icon on the right side of the screen.
10. Create and assign collection tasks to only selected users and monitor progress-to-completion in real-time.
Select your forms, create a task and supply only to field crews associated with a certain project. Select existing forms, click “Create task”, and edit the details before sending out to project field staff.
