Join us September 18-20, 2019 for our first Forensics Refresher Course at the CSDS Training Center in Sacramento. This 2-and-a-half day course is designed to train students on the basic Trimble workflows for collecting data and diagramming a scene and to give them the confidence needed to run the equipment on their next call-out. It is perfect for personnel who have received training in the past but haven’t regularly used the equipment and software or new folks rotating into the division.
Our Trimble Certified Trainer will be teaching processes and workflows for the field and office using:
• Trimble Capture
• Trimble Reveal
• Trimble Realworks Forensics
Course will cover the use of both the Trimble S7 Robotic Total Stations and Trimble SX10 Scanning Total Stations.
Take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about using total stations and 3D scans to document your scenes for evidence collection and presentation.

This will show the complete workflow from field to finished diagram using several data sources. Data will be captured as part of the class and combined with training data sets to help build out the students’ understanding of the capabilities and tools available. It will be useful both to Traffic and CSI divisions, as the tools presented are designed to be used by both groups. The final day will concentrate on incorporating 3D scan data into a scene and using tools to help others visualize the data.
This course will bring a new user up to speed on the workflows, enabling them to take it back and use it immediately. It will also provide an opportunity to interface with other departments using the same equipment and leverage the experience present to gain a better understanding of the different methods the solutions can be employed.
