Trimble ProPoint
Leverages the latest developments in GNSS signal infrastructure and Trimble’s high-precision receiver hardware. It delivers improved positioning performance in typically challenging environments where satellite line of sight can be impaired, such as under tree canopy and highway overpasses and in dense urban areas.
Common receivers are the: Trimble R980, R780, R580, R12i.
Trimble TIP (Trimble Inertial Platform)
Allows points to be measured or staked out while the survey rod is tilted or tipped. This enables accurate measurements without having to level the antenna, allowing for faster and more efficient work in the field.
Trimble RTX (Real-Time Extended)
Trimble RTX (Real-Time eXtended)A high‑accuracy, precise point positioning (PPP) system that provides real‑time centimeter positioning without the need for an RTK base station or VRS network.
Trimble xFill
Leverages a worldwide network of Trimble reference stations to bridge communication outages (during RTK or VRS signal disruptions) via satellite‑delivered correction data. Note that your GNSS receiver must support xFill. xFill is only available for areas covered by the RTX broadcast satellite.

Robotic Total Stations
In an integrated survey, the controller is connected to both a conventional survey instrument (total station) and a GNSS receiver at the same time. The Trimble Access software can quickly switch between the two instruments as needed, within the same job. For example:
- If you move out of line of sight from the instrument, then you can choose to measure positions using the GNSS receiver.
- If you move under heavy tree canopy or close to buildings, then you can choose to measure positions using the conventional instrument.
Drones (UAVs)
