Description
Seafloor Systems EchoBoat-160 Unmanned Survey Vessel
The Seafloor Systems EchoBoat-160â„¢ is a purpose-built autonomous and remotely operated hydrographic survey platform designed to deliver professional-grade data acquisition with the efficiency of an unmanned surface vessel (USV). Ideal for survey, inspection, and data collection missions on lakes, rivers, harbors, contaminated water bodies, and confined spaces, the EchoBoat-160 integrates advanced sensor payloads in a compact, transportable frame that performs like a crewed vessel at a fraction of the cost.
With one-button startup and optional AutoNav™ autonomous wayfinding, the EchoBoat-160 supports hands-free navigation and repeatable survey lines. Its modular design accommodates professional sonar systems — including singlebeam, multibeam, side scan, ADCP, sub-bottom profiler, magnetometer, and auxiliary sensors such as sound velocimeters, CTDs, LiDAR, and thermal cameras — providing flexibility for diverse hydrographic workflows.
Built with a rugged UV-resistant HDPE hull and aluminum frame, the vessel delivers up to 8 hours of battery endurance at survey speed and a remote control range of up to 2 km. EchoBoat-160â„¢ is compact enough for shore deployment yet powerful enough for demanding field missions.
