Combining a professional Cable Avoidance Tool with an active signal generator/transmitter, this kit enables accurate detection and tracing of buried utilities while helping reduce the risk of costly and dangerous strikes.

The C.A.T4+ locator features Power, Radio, and Active locating modes, allowing operators to detect live electrical cables and re-radiated signals from buried metallic services. The integrated StrikeAlert™ system adds an extra layer of protection by automatically warning the user of shallow buried utilities through visual and audible alerts, even when those utilities are not being directly traced. The Imperial version displays depth and measurements in feet and inches, making it ideal for crews working to imperial standards.

Paired with the C.A.T4+, the Genny4 signal generator/transmitter applies an active signal to underground cables and pipes, enabling more precise tracing and improved identification of specific utilities in congested environments. This active locating capability significantly enhances accuracy compared to passive locating alone.
