The newly developed active single prism for Trimble S series instruments is characterized by the fact that the LED for active target tracking is located in the center of the prism, thus enabling precise height measurements. Due to the larger prism body, greater ranges of up to approx. 200 meters can now be achieved.

The Target ID (1-8) can now be conveniently set using the multifunction button, which can be used to switch the active single prism on or off by briefly pressing the button, and to switch to configuration mode to select the desired Target ID by pressing the button for longer. The LED integrated in the push-button confirms the Target ID selection with a corresponding flashing number.

The active single prism is powered by two standard AA batteries.

In GEDO IMS and GEDO Vorsys, this prism can be configured accordingly via the default settings for active prisms (prism constant, Target ID). This new prism type will be supported with the next Trimble Access update and will therefore also be available for the Trimble Access Rail app.
